1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using TopSet ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are creating an account on behalf of a child under 18, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and accept these terms on their behalf.
2. Description of Service
TopSet is an online educational platform providing gamified revision and practice questions aligned to the KS3 National Curriculum for students in Years 7-9 (ages 11-14). The Service is provided as a web application accessible via modern web browsers.
3. Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Parent/guardian accounts may create child profiles for their own children only.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Free tier: Limited access to 5 questions per day across 2 subjects. No payment required.
Paid plans: Pro (£4.99/month or £39.99/year) and Family (£7.99/month or £69.99/year) plans provide unlimited access to all features. Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
Free trial: Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Price changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price increase takes effect.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy or redistribute the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape content or questions from the Service
- Misrepresent your identity or create fraudulent accounts
6. Intellectual Property
All content, questions, designs, code and branding within TopSet are owned by us and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
7. Educational Disclaimer
TopSet is a supplementary revision tool. It is not a substitute for school teaching, professional tutoring, or official curriculum materials. While our content is aligned to the KS3 National Curriculum, we make no guarantees about academic outcomes. Results depend on individual effort and consistency.
8. Availability & Modifications
We strive to keep TopSet available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, update or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes that affect your use of the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TopSet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of TopSet after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
